Short-term International Project Financial System Consultancy

Tetra Tech International Development Services, seeks a consultant to review and take stock of both the current state of the project financial system (inclusive of practices/processes) and learn about what we have planned; to interview stakeholders at the home office and with selected overseas chiefs of projects and administrative/finance officers to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the current system and processes; and to provide a roadmap for a plan moving forward that will strengthen Home Office and Field Office ability to financially manage projects and for management to provide effective oversight.  

 

Deliverables and Due Dates

Pre-Trip Report and Plan for time in Burlington, Vermont – at least one week before arriving for field work, submit a one-page report outlining proposed approach and interviews for discussion and approval.

 

Draft Report and Recommendations – one week after completing field work, submit draft report outlining recommendations for how to mitigate the concerns listed above.  Work closely with Project Planning and Finance Department and Corporate Finance Teams to draft work plan to finalize system and processes.

 

Final Report and Recommendations – one week after receiving comments on draft report and recommendations, provide final report and recommendations.

 

 

Level of Effort (LOE)

 

Total LOE: 20 days, including 10 days in Burlington, VT

 

Schedule

Dates of the assignment are flexible and will be agreed upon with the consultant.
