Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, VA is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Director of Administration and Finance position on an anticipated USAID-funded program in Rwanda.
The Director of Administration and Finance will be responsible for the project’s administrative operations including finance, human resource management, contract/grants compliance, procurement and office administration while ensuring compliance with USAID, local laws, and Tetra Tech rules and regulations. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and support program implementation while ensuring adherence to required policies and protocols and working effectively as part of a multi-cultural team.
We are looking for a strong leader, a supportive manager, and a team player who is committed to using US taxpayer resources efficiently and effectively. The Director of Administration and Finance is expected to be a full-time position, based in Kigali, for a period of up to five years. Rwandan candidates, especially women, youth and people with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and/or some other relevant discipline is required. A Masters’ degree is preferred (a Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience will be considered).
* Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience providing administrative and financial leadership and oversight to all aspects of project operations
* Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a senior supervisory role related to accounting, payroll, procurement and logistical support services.
* Experience providing contractual and financial oversight to USAID-funded projects of similar size and complexity preferred
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Quickbooks required
* Grants management experience highly desirable.
* Accounting/audit certifications highly desirable
* Fluent proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing required
