Grants Manager - Clean Cities, Blue Ocean (CCBO)

Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, VA has an immediate opening for a Grants Manager for the Clean Cities Blue Ocean (CCBO) project. This position will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.

The CCBO activity is a five-year initiative of USAID which will serve as USAID's flagship program to target ocean plastics directly at their source in cities and towns. The project works to prevent ocean plastic pollution by building capacity and commitment for Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling (3Rs) and solid waste management (SWM) in urban and peri-urban settings, particularly in riverine and coastal areas. CCBO works with multiple USAID missions on country-specific implementation of national and local activities, and with USAID/Washington on global-level activities.

The role of the CCBO Grants Manager will be to oversee the administrative and financial management of the Grants Under Contract portfolio for this initiative. This will involve selecting, managing, monitoring, and closing out a $10 million grants portfolio across multiple countries. Given the large size and geographic spread of the project, the Grants Manager should be a proven leader capable of building the capacity of both international staff and grantees in grant management and compliance.

* Minimum of 7 years of professional experience managing grants programs for USAID-funded projects and understanding of the full grants cycle.

* Experience with capacity building and support to grant staff and grantees across multiple locations.
