Summer Business Development Intern

 

Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Summer Business Development Intern to assist the Business Development team in San Francisco, California. Candidates should be interested in learning more about international development, proposal development for donor-funded projects, and technical methodologies utilized in rule of law, access to justice, crime and violence prevention, governmental integrity, and anti-corruption projects around the world. Solid writing, research, and computer skills are essential.

 

Chief responsibilities include supporting proposal development and recruitment efforts for rule of law, access to justice, crime and violence prevention, governmental integrity, and anti-corruption proposals and projects around the world. Intern will primarily help conduct research, write relevant proposal sections, and support recruitment tasks for live and upcoming proposals. Intern will also assist with project implementation assignments and general administrative tasks as needed.

 

This position will be based in San Francisco, California. This is a paid internship and hours are flexible between 30-40 per week. The duration is at least three months.

 

Qualifications:

* Candidates must have strong interest and experience in international development.

* Candidates must have solid writing, research, and MS Office Suite skills

* Knowledge of a second language, preferably Spanish, French, or Arabic is a plus.

* Only students currently in law school, graduate programs in International Development, Public Administration, Nonprofit Administration, or similar graduate programs may apply.

* Students must have already completed their undergraduate degree to be considered.
