Graphic Designer

Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Communications team. In this part time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and forward-thinking print and digital assets for high-quality proposals, statement of qualifications, and presentations in the pursuit of new business and to support ongoing projects.

 This role is part time and can be based in Arlington, VA or Burlington, VT.

What you’ll do:
Develop graphic design concepts for proposals, statement of qualifications, presentations, and marketing materials including covers, page layouts, infographics, renderings, event materials, event signage and other visual elements
Collaborate with the project teams to capture and communicate complex concepts through customized graphic designs
Take written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs
Put together elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components
Edit PowerPoint presentations to create dynamic and visual slide decks
Develop layouts of project document templates, including letterhead, envelopes, and office signage
Format and create layouts for project presentations, compile mixed-media files into single client ready deliverables
Coordinate the printing and distribution of materials with outside vendors, as needed


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or other relevant degree
2+ years’ Graphic Design experience
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Expertise in using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Experience designing within brand and style guide parameters
Experience producing materials in compliance with USAID branding
Experience producing materials that are 508 compliant
Up-to-date on emerging design technologies, standards, and trends
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in the US without employer sponsorship
