Knowledge Management Lead - WASH-FIN

In partnership with Segura, Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, VA is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified Knowledge Management Lead candidates to be responsible for the development, management, continuous improvement and expansion of knowledge management products under Segura on the WASH-FIN project. The KM Lead will be working to advance the Knowledge Management component of the project which aims to consolidate country level lessons learned and information dissemination. Countries under WASH-FIN include Cambodia, Kenya, Nepal, Philippines, Senegal and South Africa. This is a full-time position.

 

WASH-FIN is a five year, ~$41M project awarded to Tetra Tech by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). WASH-FIN seeks to close infrastructure financing gaps to achieve universal access to water and sanitation services through sustainable and creditworthy business models, increased public funding and expanded market finance for infrastructure investment.  WASH-FIN goals include increasing the number of people with access to a safely managed drinking water and/or sanitation services; strengthened capability of governments to track investments in WASH services; mobilized sustained and reliable finance to invest in improved WASH service delivery at the local level; and strengthened ability of USAID and development partners to understand, scale and replicate successful approaches to WASH finance.

 

This position will be based in Arlington, VA.

 

Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.

* Minimum of eight (8) years of direct experience in WASH, infrastructure finance, or urban technical fields; USAID experience preferred;

* Highly proficiency in MS Office applications;

* Prior experience managing knowledge management and information dissemination;

* Experience creating simple and accessible toolkits, blogs, and presentations for government, civil society, and development partners preferred; experience with medium or exposure platforms desirable;

* Excellent communication skills in English;

* This position may require short-term international field work (10%-20%);

* Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
