Tetra Tech ES Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech dedicated to international development, is recruiting for thought leaders to join us in developing and growing an exciting new team, to create solutions and break down barriers to digital access in the developing world.

Tetra Tech is a leader in innovation, reform, and advisory services across the world, and we are seeking to grow our efforts to expand access to digital communication and information technology as well. We seek leaders and innovators in these fields, and those who can bring unique solutions to the challenge of increasing internet access in developing countries.

We are looking for candidates with experience in reforming countries’ communication infrastructure, laws, and regulations, as well as the technological innovation required to provide internet access.

Candidates will work with donor funded agencies and local governments to advance priority projects by tracking key actions, engaging with stakeholders, and recommending specific regulatory or technical assistance to remove obstacles and expedite aspects of the project. Candidates will provide advice on key projects, and will build the capacity of local government and business in the process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, communications, business or related field.
• Experience with increasing access to digital communications technology, specifically internet access in developing nations.
• Experience in developing solutions to increased access barriers though institutional, regulatory and economic reform.
• Experience working with donor funded agencies (DFID, USAID, GIZ) and multilateral lenders (World Bank, IDB, etc.).
