PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an experienced Country Team / Field Manager for an NEA / AC position in Washington, DC.
The incumbent's responsibilities:
· Assists NEA/AC's lead representative in selected countries and relevant staff in Washington on the conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and monitoring of specific NEA/AC projects related to Selected country, ensuring that such projects reflect local developments, new and emerging opportunities for U.S. assistance, proven programming methodologies, and other factors to enhance the quality and impact of NEA/AC activities in advancing USG policy goals.
· Serves as contact and liaison with NEA/AC grant recipients in country, in coordination with or at the request of NEA/AC's lead representative in selected countries, to ensure proper implementation, adequate monitoring, and sufficient coordination occurs.
· Collaborates with NEA/AC's lead representative in selected countries to provide information and analysis that informs and supports NEA/AC strategic planning and program orientation related to selected country. Performs site visits and monitors grantees' progress against established benchmarks, recommending adjustments to NEA/AC's lead representative and relevant staff in Washington, as necessary.
· Monitoring, Evaluation & Assessments Field expertise required.
· Identifies opportunities for continued NEA/AC outreach to selected country activists and recommends possible meetings to NEA/AC's lead representative in selected countries.
· Strong managerial skills & good team leader required to work for a period of a year or more in austere locations, mainly middle, near east region (Iraq, Lebanon, and other countries as specified).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
· Secret Clearance required
· 10-12 years of experience
· Master's or Doctorate
· Fluent in English and strong writing skills necessary, and fluent in Arabic.
· Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data necessary.
· Demonstrated experience in target countries where monitoring efforts are taking place.
· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team oriented approach a requirement.
