Multiple Operations Specialists, Amazon Knowledge Learning Platform Activity

Tetra Tech International Development Services is currently accepting applications for multiple operations positions for the upcoming five-year USAID-funded Amazon Knowledge Learning Platform Activity. The purpose of this biodiversity conservation initiative is to support the adaptive management of USAID programs under the Amazon vision and improve knowledge and evidence for the conservation of Amazon biodiversity and climate change mitigation services.

**Please note: This is a local position. Only candidates from Latin America and Caribbean countries will be considered**

 

Finance and Administration Director:

·Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related social science. Advanced degree preferred.

·Minimum 5 years of experience leading a finance and administrative team for a USAID-funded contract or an organization of similar size and complexity.

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.

 

Finance Manager:

·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration or related social science; Advanced degree preferred.

·Minimum 5 years of relevant experience handling financial portfolios for international and/or multilateral donor-funded programs, preferably USAID.

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.

 

Human Resources Manager:

·Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related social science.

·Minimum 5 years of experience as a human resource manager for a USAID-funded contract or an organization of similar size and complexity.

·Working experience with local labor laws and practices.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.

 

Information Technology Manager:

·Bachelor’s degree or certification in information technology or related social science.

·Minimum 5 years of experience designing and managing information technology systems for an organization/business of similar size and complexity, preferably on USAID programs.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) are preferred

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.

 

Contracts and Grants Manager:

·Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or related field; Advanced degree preferred.

·Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, responsible for long-term, multi-year contracts, grants and/or procurement on USAID or other international donor-funded programs.

·Working knowledge of USAID rules and regulation such as FAR, ADS, and AIDAR.

·Excellent information management skills, with very strong attention to detail.

·Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.

 

Accountant:

·Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related social science. Advanced degree preferred.

·Minimum 5 years of experience managing accounts for a USAID-funded contract (preferred) or an organization/business of similar size and complexity.

·Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

·Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

·Fluent oral and written Spanish and English skills.
