Tetra Tech ARD, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Chief of Party; Deputy Chief of Party, for long-term positions on an upcoming USAID funded Improving Governance in Zambia program. The upcoming multi-year “Improving Governance in Zambia – Supply Side” project will seek to improve service delivery and accountability in government by strengthening procurement, audit and internal control functions in targeted ministries. These Ministries include Health, Community Development, Mother and Child Health, and Education.
Chief of Party:
*Advanced degree in public finance, accountability, public administration/management, or other relevant fields;
*Minimum fifteen (10) years of experience as a Chief of Party or Project Director/Manager on large donor-funded projects; experience on USAID-funded projects preferred.
*Minimum seven (5) years of experience with successful anti-corruption, transparency, government capacity development, decentralization, or institutional strengthening programs
*Professional experience in East Africa required; professional experience in Zambia preferred;
*Fluency in English required; knowledge of Nyanja and Bemba desirable
Deputy Chief of Party
*Master’s degree related field.
*Expertise in one or more of the following areas: anti-corruption, decentralization, government reform, information systems, monitoring & evaluation, knowledge management and communications.
*Minimum of 8 years of experience working in anti-corruption issues preferably in East Africa.
*Fluency in English required; knowledge of Nyanja and Bemba desirable
*Zambian or regional nationals strongly encouraged to apply;
