Tetra Tech International Development Services, headquartered in Arlington, VA has an immediate opening for an Admin and Finance Manager for the Clean Cities Blue Ocean (CCBO) project. This position will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.
The CCBO activity is a five-year, $48 million initiative of USAID which will serve as USAID's flagship program to target ocean plastics directly at their source in cities and towns. The project works to prevent ocean plastic pollution by building capacity and commitment for Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling (3Rs) and solid waste management (SWM) in urban and peri-urban settings, particularly in riverine and coastal areas. CCBO works with multiple USAID missions on country-specific implementation of national and local activities, and with USAID/Washington on global-level activities.
The role of the CCBO Admin and Finance Manager will be to ensure the timely provision and delivery of all required project financial, administrative, compliance and grants, procurement and subcontracts support to the execution of the project. The Admin and Finance Manager will also manage other Admin and Finance support staff.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
* Advanced degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is required;
* Experience in Financial Management and Administration on large donor-funded programs; experience with USAID financial management required;
* Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a supervisory role related to accounting, grants, payroll, procurement, and logistical support services;
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment;
* Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks and support program implementation while ensuring adherence to required policies and protocols;
* Strong communications, organizational, and financial management skills.
* U.S. citizenship or a valid U.S. work permit is an absolute requirement.
