HR Expert 1 & HR Expert 2 -STTA

Tetra Tech International Development Services is recruiting for Mid & Senior Human Resource (HR) Expert for a USAID-funded project.

The HR Expert will play a critical role in facilitating activities that implement gender equitable HR policies and practices across the energy and utilities sectors.

Responsibilities include:

*Responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the utility partners, (both those who have graduated from the academic course and those enrolled in the course).

-Technical assistance includes:

*Guidance on the implementation of gender equitable HR policies

*Comprehension of course materials and learning objectives

*Capacity building

*Support with selection and development of capstone project and guidance for design and implementation of gender equitable HR interventions.

*May be called to design and deliver course modules were appropriate.

*Assist the utility partners in collecting and analyzing data to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the interventions, as well as track outcomes on the business case, gender equity, and women’s empowerment.

*Combine virtual and in-person support to partner utilities to support the implement of gender equity best practices and approaches taught in the executive leadership course

Qualifications:

HR Expert 1

*At least five years of direct experience working in HR or working with private sector companies to improve HR practices.

*Minimum of a master’s degree in human resources, gender studies, energy, or related field.

*Experience working on gender equity in HR, working with the power sector, and/or in developing country contexts strongly preferred.

*Must have experience working in HR-related fields such as recruitment, training, mentorship, HR policies and risk assessment, and inclusive workplaces.

*Experience working on similar USAID programs is strongly preferred.

 

HR Expert 2

*At least five years of direct experience working in HR or working with private sector companies to improve HR practices.

*Minimum of a master’s degree in human resources, gender studies, energy, or related field

*Experience working on gender equity in HR, working with the power sector, and/or in developing country contexts strongly preferred.
