Tetra Tech International Development Services is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID funded Rule of Law Project in Uzbekistan. This program is expected to provide support to the Government of Uzbekistan to ensure the rule of law, reform the legal and judicial system, and aid in the growth and development of civil society in Uzbekistan. The activity will seek to develop more accountable and transparent state bodies and foster constructive engagement between civil society and the Uzbek government.
This program will require candidates for various long- and short- term positions to carry out the expected activities according to the solicitation. All the positions will be based in Uzbekistan.
Responsibilities: Will depend upon the position requirements.
Qualifications:
* Significant experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Justice sector development, training, and capacity building
- Justice sector legislative reform and policy making
- Civil society development / NGO capacity building
- Access to justice
- Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
- Grants management
- Gender mainstreaming and protection of vulnerable groups
- Finance and administration of USG international development projects
* Prior experience with U.S. DOS, INL, USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred
* Experience in Uzbekistan and Central Asia is preferred but not required
* Proficiency in English
* Russian language skills preferred
