Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for two Economists/Economic Modeler positions. These candidates will provide consultancy services for the preparation of a feasibility study, environmental and social impact assessment, and resettlement policy framework for the expansion of bulk water supply in Mongolia. The anticipated duration of this project is approximately twelve (12) months, depending on actual mobilization date.
Responsibilities:
* Lead economic analysis to estimate the value of water for commercial and residential consumers;
* Provide methodological guidance on economic theory;
* Model and oversee economic data collection.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree with concentration in economics, public policy, or related field that has a strong emphasis in quantitative analysis;
* Master’s degree preferred;
* Experience conducting research or working on water and sanitation issues in developing countries;
* Experience in Mongolia preferred;
* Must have experience conducting quantitative analysis;
* Experience with willingness-to-pay studies preferred.
