Tetra Tech ARD, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Sanitation Behavior Change Communication Specialist position on the upcoming USAID-funded WADI WASH Project in Mozambique.
Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Behavior Change Communication Specialist will work under the direction of the COP and will be responsible for directing the WASH practices and sanitation demand activities to increase the use of health-promoting WASH practices by target populations, including increasing demand for sanitation in rural communities
Qualifications:
*Hold an advanced degree (Masters or higher) in a relevant field, such as public health, rural development, development sciences, or social sciences
*At least five (5) years of WASH expertise in the Mozambican context, especially in community level activities aimed at increasing use of health promoting WASH practices and increasing demand for sanitation in rural communities
*Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, in both English and Portuguese
