Tetra Tech ARD, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Institutional Development Specialist position on the upcoming USAID-funded WADI WASH Project in Mozambique.
Responsibilities:
The Institutional Development Specialist will work under the direction of the COP and will be responsible for directing the institutional capacity building activities to improve the management of water services and improve the planning and monitoring of WASH services at the provincial and district levels
Qualifications:
*Hold an advanced degree (Masters or higher) in a relevant field, such as engineering, public health or natural resource management
*At least five (5) years of water and sanitation sector expertise in the Mozambican context, especially in activities aimed at capacity building of water committees, water operators, or private sector providers to carry out system operation and maintenance, improve financial and management performance, and extend service coverage
*Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, in both English and Portuguese
