Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor candidates for the anticipated 5 year USAID-funded Green Invest program out of the Regional Development Mission for Asia. The objective of the RDMA project is to build a pipeline of investible businesses in geographies throughout Southeast Asia. The main project office is anticipated to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities:

Gender Equality and Female Empowerment must be actively promoted and monitored to achieve an enabling environment for more effective, efficient, and equitable development. The sustainability and impact of USAID/RDMA activities depend on the ability to more effectively identify, analyze gender disparities and ensure that they are considered throughout the design, planning, implementation, documentation, monitoring and evaluation activities. The Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor will provide technical assistance, guidance, and leadership to ensure the cross-cutting issues of gender and social inclusion are integrated throughout the projects activities.

Qualifications:

*Advanced university degree in social science/economics human rights, gender/women's

Studies international development or other relevant field;

*At least seven years of experience in international development;

*At least five years of experience in integrating gender equality and female empowerment into programming;

* Previous experience in AFOLU and/or business incubation preferred;

*Preferably has experience with addressing gender equality issues and creating economic opportunities for women’s leadership and participation;

*Experience working in the region;

*Fluent in English.
