Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Transport Economist position on an Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded program in Afghanistan.
The program will consist of an ADB-funded feasibility study and alignment recommendation for the reconstruction and renovation of an existing transportation corridor and tunnel in Afghanistan.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all activities required for the economic evaluation of the alternative alignments studied and, if required, for the re-evaluation of the selected alignment following its detailed design.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related required;
* At least 15 years of experience in in preparing economic assessments of transport sector projects Must have a substantial experience with ADB or similar development bank-financed projects
* Willingness to work within Afghanistan.
