Deputy Team Leader

Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Deputy Team Leader position on an Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded program in Afghanistan. 

 

The program will consist of an ADB-funded feasibility study and alignment recommendation for the reconstruction and renovation of an existing transportation corridor and tunnel in Afghanistan.

 

Responsibilities:

* The Deputy Team Leader will partner with the Team Leader to ensure that the project’s objectives are achieved,

* Responsible specifically for the management and performance of the consultant’s national team members;

* Will oversee and managing locally-procured subcontractors for surveys, investigations, etc.

 

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related required;

* Professional engineering license preferred;

* At least 15 years of experience in designing and constructing large infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on major road and tunnel works projects and feasibility studies.

* Position is based in Afghanistan

* Qualified Afghani nationals are encouraged to apply
