Tetra Tech ARD, (www.tetratechintdev.com) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Senior Technical Advisor for Education position for an upcoming proposal for the Accountable Governance for Improved Service Delivery (AGIS) program, to be funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The goal of this program will be to improve service delivery and accountability by strengthening procurement, audit and internal control functions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and to extend existing initiatives to the local level. This will be a long-term position located in Lusaka, Zambia.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years of experience providing technical and operational experience in international development, preferably in Zambia, involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions.
* Strong technical expertise in the education sector in Zambia including in the areas of financial management, internal controls, institutional reform and strengthening, and accountability and transparency.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
*Extensive experience interacting and collaborating with government counterparts.
* Experience managing capacity building and/or institutional systems strengthening programs preferred.
* Zambian Nationals strongly encouraged to apply.
* Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
