Information Technology Service Delivery Manager

Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont (http://tetratech.com/intdev), is accepting applications for qualified Information Technology (IT) Service Delivery Manager candidates to join the IKMS team. The IT Service Delivery Manager supports Tetra Tech ARD’s communications, technical, and operations teams to respond in a timely and appropriate manner to IT opportunities and challenges in the Home Office and project offices around the world. Accordingly, the IT Service Delivery Manager is expected to travel up to 25% internationally to locations where our projects are based. Strong skills in operating systems, databases, networking, and mobile operation systems as well as excellent communications skills are critical for success in this role.

 

The successful candidate may be based in Burlington, Vermont or Arlington, Virginia and reports to the Director of Information and Knowledge Management Services.

 

Responsibilities:

* Create and implement an appropriate IT Services strategy;

* Manage the deployment of IKMS projects using appropriate change management techniques while maintaining excellent customer service;

* Schedule and facilitate IT-related communications between home office, field offices, and corporate teams;

* Oversee day to day Home Office Service Desk operations;

* Drive process improvement for user services and field office IT support;

* Support rollout of IT systems for project startups, including travel to the field as needed;

* Monitor and report on status and function of IT systems in field offices and

* Assist Director with complementary and germane tasks for the IKMS team, as directed.

 

Qualifications:

* Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required;

* At least 4 years of proven IT Service Management experience within a medium or large organization;

* Minimum of 2 years of project management experience preferred;

* Outstanding applied knowledge of Windows operating systems, all Microsoft applications including Office 365, networking, and mobile operating systems;

* Expertise in MS Office suite and particularly, SharePoint;

* Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT best practices and change management;

* Experience collaborating with cross-sectoral, intercultural teams preferred;

* History of providing independent support to international users in remote offices strongly preferred;

* Deadline oriented individual who can work independently or in fast-paced team environments; and

* U.S. citizenship or a valid U.S. work permit is mandatory.
