GLS – Procurement, Compliance, andFinancial Specialist - USAID, Uganda
Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/)is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Procurement, Compliance, and Financial Specialist position on a USAID funded program in Uganda
The anticipated project is to assist in developing new business in Uganda. The anticipated duration of this project is two years.
Responsibilities:
The Procurement, Compliance, and Financial Specialist will be responsible for managing the contract compliance and procurement requirements of all work under the USAID/Uganda Mission contract. Travel among northern Ugandan cities may be required.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree with education or training in procurement, logistics, business, law, economics, finance, public administration, or related field withsignificant experience in procurement and/or contract management in the field of international development, preferably including USAID, USG, and/orinternational NGO experience
*Must have excellent English language skills (both written and verbal).
* An in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as well as commonly used USG contracting and/or procurement mechanisms and their governing policies is highly desirable
* Qualified Ugandan nationalsare encouraged to apply
