Tetra Tech ARD, located in Burlington, Vermont, is looking for qualified candidates to serve in a number of roles for an anticipated USAID-funded program in Zambia beginning in mid-2016.  We are looking for visionary leaders, strong managers, and creative thinkers who work well with public and private sector partners, and who have a passion for and a commitment to increasing sustainable access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in primary schools.. These positions are anticipated to be full time, based in Zambia, for a period of five years. Zambians are encouraged to apply.

Positions for which qualified candidates are sought include:

• Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor
• Operations & Maintenance and Sustainability Advisor
• Governance/ Institutional Strengthening Coordinator
• Technology for Development Specialist
• Civil Engineer
• District Coordinators (3)

General Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; Advanced Degree preferred;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in area of technical expertise; 5-7 years for senior level positions;
• Experience working on international donor funded technical assistance programs required; USAID experience preferred;
• Professional experience in Zambia is required, experience in the education or WASH sectors preferred;
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent planning, management and organizational skills; demonstrated capacity to quickly assess priorities and opportunities and manage a variety of activities with sufficient attention to detail;
• Strong leadership, management, supervisory and analytical skills;
• Excellent presentation, and writing skills in English;
• Strong MS Office skills;
• Fluency in English is required.
