Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Hydrologist position in Tunisia.
The purpose of this position is to provide professional services and oversight on a water resources due diligence and feasibility study in Tunisia starting in March 2018. Consulting services will be on a part time basis, approximately 80-250 hours per year for up to five years.
Responsibilities:
* Perform hydrological assessments as part of a water resources due diligence and feasibility study;
* Establish and maintain adequate resources to ensure that cost control, quality standards, and schedules are met;
* Report to technical and contract personnel in accordance with the client’s reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
* Must have an advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related technical field;
* Must have fifteen (15) or more years of experience conducting surface/groundwater modeling and hydrogeology studies;
* Experience with artificial aquifer recharge (AAR) studies preferred;
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skill in English;
* French or Arabic language skills highly preferred;
* Must be able to travel to Tunisia for periodic, short term durations.
