Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Grants Coordinator candidates for the USAID Greening Prey Lang program.
The role of the Grants Coordinator is to manage the Grants Program in accordance with the Grants Manual and USAID-approved Grants Management Procedures (GMP) and subcontracting regulations. The Grants Coordinator shall ensure the management, design and development of transparent, effective and efficient Grants Program operations as may be required. S/He will advise the Chief of Party, and other technical staff on effective procedures for integrating NGO partners into their programs, plans and project designs. He/she will facilitate the execution of all grants in order to fully support all USAID programming in the timely accomplishment of all deliverables. This position is long-term and will be based in Cambodia.
Responsibilities:
* Develop the Grants Manual, ensuring that all procedures are in compliance with USAID rules and regulations governing the management of grants and subcontracts and the legal context in Cambodia;
* Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to ensure that Grants activities and results are taken into account in the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP);
* Develop and maintain an updated Grants database including information on all grants implemented under the Grants Program and ensure that the Tetra Tech home office receives periodic updates of this database information;
* Monitor the performance of grantees to ensure compliance with grant terms and obligations, the fulfillment of anticipated grant-supported activities, and the submission of timely financial and activity reports and other deliverables;
* Close out grants in accordance with appropriate USAID regulations.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree in business administration, economics, finance or related field of study. Masters’ degree preferred;
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the management of grants and/or subcontracts fund ($1 million - $1.5 million USD) supported by an international donor, preferably USAID;
* Experience designing grant procedures and manuals, training grantees on application/ response procedures and compliance issues;
* Experience monitoring and evaluating grantee performance;
* Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Able to communicate fluently effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Experience supporting environment and natural resource-related donor projects preferred
