Tetra Tech ARD (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified Communications and Outreach Specialist candidates for the Greening Prey Lang program.

The Communications and Outreach Specialist will work closely with technical team members to develop communications and information products geared for a wide range of stakeholders to promote project objectives related to biodiversity, livelihoods and governance. This long-term position will be based in Cambodia.

Responsibilities:

* Develop comprehensive communications and outreach plan;

* Develop outreach materials

* Provide training in the use of outreach materials

* Contribute to program planning

* Lead awareness-raising campaigns toward public, government, and relevant stakeholders including private sector and development partners;

* Provide technical assistance related to social behavior change communications (SBCC) and provide training to other staff on the project

Qualifications:

* University degree in communications, marketing, journalism, environmental studies or related discipline;

* At least 5 years of experience related to media development and communications related to conservation, biodiversity and/or environmental governance;

* Familiarity with or training in Behavior Change Communications strategies;

* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including government officials, project staff and/or donor agencies;

* Experience leading effective communications initiatives and public outreach campaigns, developing multi-media messages, and building capacity for effective advocacy;

* USAID experience preferred;

* Cambodian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply
