Tetra Tech GLS, headquartered in Marlborough,  Massachusetts (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Social & Gender Specialist position. This candidate will provide consultancy services for the preparation of a feasibility study, environmental and social impact assessment, and resettlement policy framework for the expansion of bulk water supply in Mongolia. The anticipated duration of this project is approximately twelve (12) months, depending on actual mobilization date.

Responsibilities:

*  Provide social and gender assessment as part of a Preliminary Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (PESIA).

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related discipline;

* Must have experience in social and gender related issues in an international development context;

* Must have demonstrated experience with gender in the water sector and with integrating gender, social inclusion, access, and poverty considerations into large scale infrastructure projects;

* Previous Mongolia or other regional experience would be beneficial.
