WASH Infrastructure Specialist, WADI WASH, Mozambique

Tetra Tech ARD, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Wash Infrastructure Specialist position on the upcoming USAID-funded WADI WASH Project in Mozambique.



Responsibilities:

The WASH Infrastructure Specialist will work under the direction of the COP and will be responsible for technical oversight of the construction-related activities to increase the availability of functional water and sanitation infrastructure in health facilities and communities



Minimum Deliverables - Result 1:

Preliminary survey report of potential sites for infrastructure projects, with recommendations for prioritized interventions.

Site-specific designs for each construction or rehabilitation project.

50 health facilities with rehabilitated or newly constructed water and/or sanitation systems.

10 communities with rehabilitated of newly constructed water supply systems.

Minimum 5,000 people gaining access to basic water services.



Qualifications:

*Hold an advanced degree (Masters or higher) in engineering, architecture, or related field.

*At least five (5) years of expertise in designing and construction water and sanitation infrastructure of a similar scale in the Mozambican context.

*Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, in both English and Portuguese.
