Tetra Tech is seeking to hire a qualified Task 4 Coordinator for an upcoming program in Indonesia. The Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) and the Government of Indonesia (the “Government”) have entered into a Millennium Challenge Compact for Millennium Challenge Account – Indonesia (MCA Indonesia) assistance to help facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in the Republic of Indonesia. A portion of this funding has been allocated to assist MCA-Indonesia in implementing the Green Prosperity Project (GP Project). The program objectives of the GP Project will be achieved through the implementation of, among other things, investment in administrative boundary setting, updating and integration of land use inventories and enhancing spatial plans at the district and provincial levels (“Participatory Land Use Planning” (PLUP)). A sub-activity under PLUP is the Participatory Mapping and Planning (PMaP) Sub-Activity.

Responsibilities:

* Providing day-to-day strategic direction and technical and operational planning and supervision of the implementation of enhancing spatial plans, improving efficiency and transparent in land use licenses, and in establishing a spatially-enabled land use database in the selected districts;

* Direct supervision of the work of field team members involved in the implementation of Task 4;

* Directly responsible for the preparation of reports and presentations regarding the implementation of Task 4;

* Lead liaison with MCA-Indonesia and local government representatives regarding implementation of Task 4;

* Prepare data and materials related to the fieldwork for use in for technical reports and presentations;

* Coordinates directly with the Project Director/Chief of Party and other task coordinators in the implementation of field work and preparation of reports and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Land Administration, Land Use Planning, Natural Resource Management, Information Management Systems, Geographic Information Systems, or related field;

* Minimum of seven years of experience in project planning and management, especially in the management of land use planning and GIS database development projects;

* Demonstrated skill in management of technical teams and communication and interaction with local government officials and technicians;

* Experience in capacity building or institutional strengthening projects of any Indonesian Government agencies or community development;

*Extensive experience in facilitating meetings for government officials and other stakeholders in the field of land use and spatial planning;

* Demonstrated experience in the use of database management, including spatially enabled databases;

* Previous work experience in Indonesia as well as a strong knowledge of Indonesian planning standards and legal framework;

* Fluency in English.

Desirable Qualification fluency in Indonesia language.
