Various Positions, Southern Africa Resilient Waters Project

Tetra Tech is seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates to serve in a number of roles for an anticipated $50-100 million USAID-funded transboundary waters project in Southern Africa. The purpose of this five-year Southern Africa Resilient Waters Project is to improve transboundary management and decision making for water, biodiversity and associated natural resources in the Okavango and Limpopo river basins.

We are seeking visionary leaders, strong managers and creative thinkers who work well with public and private sector partners, and who have a passion for building the resilience of communities and ecosystems to adapt to a changing environment and climate. These positions are anticipated to be full time and based in Southern Africa. Specific locations to be determined.

Please note your specialization in the following areas:
water and natural resource management, biodiversity, climate change adaptation, public-private partnerships, community resilience, community mobilization, WASH, governance, and monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Qualifications:

*A related university degree (Master’s preferred) and at least five years of professional experience in relevant field.

*Experience with donor-funded projects required, USAID preferred.

*Proven leadership, organizational and writing skills.

*Experience working in Southern Africa.
