Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont (http:www.tetratechintdev.com/) is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for an anticipated IUWASH PLUS, USAID-funded project in Indonesia. The project aims to assist the Government of Indonesia to increase access to improved water and sanitation services and improve key hygiene behaviors, especially among the poorest and most vulnerable. This position will work under the direction of the Chief of Party and will be responsible for directing the activities to strengthen the WASH financing environment at the national, municipal and household levels. This would be a full-time position, based in Jakarta. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
*At least ten years of general institution strengthening and partnership building expertise including a track record in effective institution strengthening, public policy development, public participation and partnership building with government at local and national levels.
*Hold at least a Master Degree in public financing, regional development, business administration, or similar field.
*Proven experience in undertaking activities aimed at increased political support and access to financial resources for water and sanitation improvement.
*Proven experience in facilitating PPPs & contracting with private sector service providers.
*Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to fulfill the technical and managerial responsibilities proposed.
*Working experience in developing countries required; experience in Indonesia preferred
*Strong English writing and speaking skills.
*Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and knowledge of Indonesian culture required.
