Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for multiple technical positions on a USAID funded program in the Philippines. The program, known as PROTECT, will help to conserve biodiversity in priority sites in the Philippines by focusing on the illicit capture, trade and trans-shipment of terrestrial and marine wildlife. Conservation interventions will focus on capacity building and technical assistance at the national and subnational levels; conservation financing from public and private sources; rural livelihoods change; science, technology, innovation and partnerships; and environmental law enforcement.

Qualifications:

* Degree in field related to technical area; Master’s degree preferred;

* Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in technical area, preferably working in areas of institutional strengthening and coalition building;

* A commitment to environmental values and a willingness to understand and contribute to biodiversity conservation programs, including the sustainable and long term management and protection of the animal and plant wildlife in the Philippines and in neighboring countries;

* Proficiency in English required;

* An understanding of Philippines political practices, as well as the country’s culture and norms;

* Qualified Philippines nationals strongly encouraged to apply.
